WAKE-UP DEBORAH
I recently had the pleasure of meeting Laura Edwards. A native of Brazil, she served as city coordinator for
"Wake-Up Deborah" in Londrina, Brazil, an organization in which thousands of mothers were mobilized
to pray daily for their children.
Laura told of one lady who stepped off the bus at her bus stop to walk home and was accosted by would-be
robbers. One young man saw the "Wake-Up Deborah" bag she carried and said, "Wait - we can't rob
her, my grandmother's a Deborah!"
I wonder what we could accomplish if fathers, as well as mothers, prayed for their children?
